Western Allstars/Scott Pounds on Dirt Nation




WESTERN ALLSTARS, POUNDS, KID ROCKET, BRUCE, THE DOCTOR AND FULLER HEADLINE Dirt Nation™
Hampton, VA --- The Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening February 26th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil airs from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on WLRT 1490 THE OUTLAW and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com and www.dirtnation.net, and is hosted by Dave Seay. Dirt Nation™ will spotlight the Western All Stars Super Late Model Series in California. Joining the show to talk about the upcoming 2007 season will be Series Promoter Chris Kearns. The Western All Stars will be starting their season at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 8th & 9th in the Las Vegas Dirt Classic and then head back to Bakersfield Speedway on March 19th for the first point race of 2007.

Also joining the show to talk about the Western All Stars will be Scott Pounds of Bakersfield, CA. Pounds is a regular on the series and at Bakersfield Speedway. Pounds drives the Bob Oathout owned, Russell Baker powered Chevrolet Monte Carlo Rayburn #14 sponsored by MMI Services, Santa Maria Diesel, Auto Insurance for Less, Santa Maria Drive Line and Milodon, Inc.

Returning to Dirt Nation™ will be World of Outlaws Late Model driver Josh Richards of Shinnston, WV. ‘Kid Rocket’ as he is know to his many fans will be heading west to race with the Western All Stars at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Kelly Boen and the 07 Motorsports Team and will talk about that and the upcoming 2007 season. Richards left Florida with not only a win but the World of Outlaws point lead. Richards drives the Mark Richards Racing owned, Cornett powered Chevrolet Monte Carlo Rocket #1 sponsored by Seubert Calf Ranches, Ace Metal Works, TSR-Tony Stewart Racing, Petroff Towing and MCB Motorsports.

Dirt Nation™ will also spotlight World of Outlaws Sprint car competitor and Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award candidate Tony Bruce Jr. of Liberal, KS. Bruce has come up through the ranks from junior sprints to mini sprints to 360-sprints, the last three years on the road with the American Sprint Car Series. He finished 10th in the 2006 ASCS National points last season and was fourth in 2005. Bruce drives the Bruce Racing, Kistler powered Maxim #18 sponsored by Best Well Service, Smiley’s Racing products, DMI and Bell helmets.

Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be northeast modified superstar and World of Outlaws Late Model rookie candidate Tim Fuller of Watertown, NY. Fuller, who has been campaigning regularly with the Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series, will now make a run at Rookie of the Year honors with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Fuller will join the show to talk about his Florida trip and 2007 plans. Fuller drives the Fuller Motorsports owned, Enders powered Teo #19 sponsored by Native Poker.com, Chiefs Tobacco and Gas and G&R Auto Parts.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be ‘The Doctor” Danny Johnson of Rochester, NY. Johnson will join the show to talk about his successful trip to Florida that resulted in a Florida DIRTcar Nationals Championship and two wins. Johnson drives the Thompson Motorsports owned, Kevlar powered Troyer #27J sponsored by Chiefs Tobacco & Gas.
